Becoming an NSPG patient
If you are a new patient to North Shore Physicians Group, you will need to complete NSPG’s medical record release form, which authorizes us to request your medical record. Please download and complete the form above and mail it to our offices at 414 Haverhill Street Rowley, MA 01969 or fax it to 978-948-5200.
Once we receive the form we can begin transferring your records and ensure we have your medical history available before your appointment. As your appointment approaches, please contact your insurance company to notify them of the change in practices.
Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care in Danvers
Specialty care is available to NSPG patients through the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care, a collaboration between North Shore Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital. Exceptional outpatient medical and surgical services at the Center include:
- Breast health center
- Comprehensive cancer services
- Day surgery (adult and pediatric)
- Imaging and diagnostic services
- Specialty care
- Urgent care is also available at the Danvers location
MEET THE PHYSICIANS
Dr. Boss is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and has been caring for adults and children on the North Shore since 2010. He attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed a residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
Elizabeth Dougherty, M.D.
Dr. Dougherty specializes in treating adults and children. She is board certified in internal medicine andpediatrics. Dr. Dougherty received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical Schooland completed a residency at the Maine Medical Center. Dr. Dougherty will be joining the team in September.
Jonathan March, D.O.
Dr. March has been providing care to the community for more than 20 years. He is board certified in familymedicine and treats both adults and children. Dr. March received his medical degree from the University ofNew England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency at the Maine Medical Center.Dr. March has a special interest in holistic medicine. He will be joining the team in October.
Francis (Frank) V. McDermott III, M.D.
Dr. McDermott has more than 15 years of experience caring for all members of the family, from infants to adults. He is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. McDermott received his medical degree from the University Of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed a residency at the University of Chicago hospitals. He is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Smail has been caring for internal medicine patients for more than 15 years. She is board certified in internal medicine and received her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Smail completed an internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Swan specializes in internal medicine and has been caring for patients since 2004. She is board certified in internal medicine and attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Swan completed a residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Townes specializes in treating both adults and children and has several years experience in treating North Shore patients. She is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Townes completed a residency at UMASS Memorial Medical Center.
Leanne Roberts, N.P.
Leanne Roberts, N.P., has clinical interests in adolescent health, preventive medicine and women's health. She received her master's degree in nursing from Regis College.
